Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd. is looking for an Area Catering Assistant to support school kitchens in Portishead. You’ll work 25 hours per week during term-time, handling tills during service and delivering friendly frontline service to pupils and staff.

Role involves basic food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean and safe, and complying with health and safety standards. Driving licence is preferred; DBS disclosure will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Training provided; Level 2 qualification encouraged but not essential.
• Holding a full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate tills during service and assist with customer interactions.
• Provide front-line service to students and staff in a busy environment.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
