Job summary

Aspens Services is hiring an Area Catering Assistant to support school kitchens across the area in basic food preparation and first-class service during lunchtimes.

You’ll help with tills during service, deliver friendly customer service to students and staff, and assist with food prep while upholding strict health and safety standards. Training is provided where needed, and a UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• You’re a team player, thriving in a busy team.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is required.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is expected.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is great but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Take tills during service and provide customer service.
• Support front-line service with a friendly, polite approach.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and adhere to Health & Safety standards.
• Assist the team to ensure smooth lunchtime service.
