Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is seeking an Area Catering Assistant to support school kitchens across the West Yorkshire area. You will work on tills during service and provide front-line service to students and staff, while assisting with basic food preparation.

You should be a team player with catering or fast-paced service experience, basic health and safety knowledge, and a valid UK driving licence. Training will be provided, and an enhanced DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Team player with experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is nice to have, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Working on the tills during service (full training provided).
• Providing friendly, polite customer service to students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining a safe, clean kitchen and meeting Health and Safety standards.
