Job summary

Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We are looking for a Catering Assistant to support our kitchen in basic food preparation and deliver excellent service during lunchtimes.

You will interact with customers on tills during service, provide friendly frontline service to students and staff, and help with basic food prep. Training will be provided to ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Team player who thrives in a busy team.
• Prior catering or fast-paced service experience.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction: working on tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-line service: delivering friendly, polite service to all students and staff.
• Support: assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining standards: keeping a safe, clean kitchen and adhering to Health & Safety.
