Leedon Lower School is seeking a Pre-School Manager to lead a nurturing, inclusive pre-school, ensuring high-quality teaching and safeguarding. The role covers full-time hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during term time, with 40 weeks plus 5 INSET days.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent and a strong EYFS background, plus leadership experience and excellent communication skills to work with parents, staff and external professionals.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a pre-school setting.
• NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and SENCO responsibilities.
• Ability to plan and implement a pre-school curriculum.
• Skilled in building relationships with parents and encouraging involvement.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Commitment to equal opportunities and cultural diversity.
• Computer literacy.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage a small EYFS team in a busy pre-school setting.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
• Oversee admissions, invoicing and budget management.
• Develop and implement an age-appropriate pre-school curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and external agencies.
• Collaborate with school leadership to support SEND and inclusion.
