Job summary

About Early Years Ltd. in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock is seeking a Preschool Manager for term-time only hours. The role leads day-to-day operations of a welcoming preschool, with Tuesday to Friday shifts.

You will oversee staff, ensure EYFS and safeguarding compliance, plan and observe learning activities, and build strong relationships with parents and professionals. Minimum NVQ3 and 2 years leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years.
• Minimum 2 years' leadership or management experience within a nursery or preschool.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and early education.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the preschool

Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking for a rewarding leadership role with family-friendly hours?

We are currently recruiting for a Preschool Manager to lead the day-to-day running of a welcoming preschool setting based in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised childcare professional with previous leadership experience within an Early Years setting.

Working Hours

• Tuesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
• Wednesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
• Thursday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
• Friday: 9:00am – 3:45pm

Salary & Benefits

• £14.00 per hour
• Term-time only position
