Job summary

The Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Leader to head our outstanding Pre-School, delivering high-quality early education under the EYFS framework. This term-time role includes a 8.00am-4.00pm pattern Mon-Thu and 8.00am-3.30pm Fri, with a 30-minute lunch break.

You will be the key person for a group of children, work with the EYFS team and SENCo, and collaborate with the Office Manager on admissions, finance and staffing. An EY Level 4+ qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and managing a Pre-School team.
• Plan and deliver curriculum using the EYFS framework.
• Safeguarding responsibilities in line with Designated Safeguarding Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s development and use this to plan and deliver sessions & interventions
• Take responsibility for safeguarding alongside the school’s Designated Safeguarding Leaders
• Continue to improve and evolve our Pre-School provision
• Be the ‘Key Person’ for a group of children
• Work closely with our School Early Years Team & SENCo

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Specialist with experience of leadership and management to lead our 'outstanding' Pre-School provision.

The working pattern is: 8.00am-4.00pm Mon-Thursday & 8.00am-3.30pm Fridays (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). This is a term-time only role (+ optional 5-10 days extra days during school holidays).

The setting is open 8.45am-3.00pm (school days only) and there is some flexibility with working hours outside of these times.

This is a term time only job with some insets it would be perfect for an Early Years Professional who would like to benefit from term time only working arrangements

The successful candidate will:

• Lead the Pre-School team offering high-quality early education
