Job summary

Budbrooke Primary School is seeking a well organised Play Worker to support wrap-around care for children before and after school. The role involves delivering and supervising play activities, ensuring safety, and promoting positive behaviour. The post is term-time only plus one week of Teacher Training Days, with a pro-rated salary.

The successful candidate will work with the team to provide a caring environment and clear routines, reporting to the Office Manager. Enhanced DBS will be required.

Qualifications

• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Ability to prepare, deliver and participate in play activities.
• Set up and clear away after sessions.
• Ensure the welfare and safety of children.
• Promote positive behaviour and good conduct.
• NVQ 2 or equivalent or relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
