Job summary

Warboys Primary Academy is seeking a Play Worker to join our lunchtime play team. You will help create a safe, inclusive outdoor environment and support positive social interactions, encouraging meaningful, active and creative play from 12pm to 1pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

This permanent role is 5 hours per day across 38 weeks, with term-time hours and a focus on safeguarding and teamwork. Prior play-work or first aid experience is desirable, but enthusiasm and reliability are valued

Qualifications

• Friendly and approachable with children aged 4-11.
• Strong teamwork skills, reliability and a caring attitude are essential.
• Enthusiasm, flexibility and commitment to school values.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every child enjoys meaningful, active and creative lunchtime play and help create a safe outdoor environment.
• Assist in the dining hall and promote safeguarding and the school ethos during lunchtime.
