Job summary

Dorridge Primary School invites applications for a Playworker to cover two weekday teatime shifts. The role is permanent term-time, part-time with hours 3:15pm–6:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will help deliver engaging activities and work as part of a dedicated school team.

We value safeguarding, positive relationships with children and families, and close collaboration with teaching staff to support the whole school ethos and development goals.

• Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting health and safety.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with children and families.
• Willingness to work as part of a professional school team.

Responsibilities

• Implement a varied range of activities meeting children’s developmental needs.
• Set up and clear away to ensure the facility is ready for use.
• Work with staff to support the school ethos and inclusivity.
• Liaise with class teachers to respond to children’s needs.
