Job summary

24x7 Group is seeking a Passenger Assistant to transport SEN pupils and vulnerable adults to and from school, college, or day care centers. You will work in a safe, flexible, and customer‑focused way to support the operation.

The role offers term‑time hours, with 12.5 to 20 hours per week, monthly pay between £560 and £860 depending on route, and a contributory pension plus training provided. Applicants must pass an enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training.

Responsibilities

• Transport SEN pupils or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres.
• Work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• Establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, carers/parents, and establishments.
• Assist the driver in company vehicles, including cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• Be patient and empathic with passengers and keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.
