Job summary

24x7 Group is offering a part-time Passenger Assistant role in the UK. You will transport SEN or vulnerable passengers to and from school or day care, working with drivers in a safe and flexible manner.

The role provides term-time style hours, monthly pay, and a friendly team environment along with training and a pension benefit. Route-dependent pay is £560–£860 per month, with 12 months of payment.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training.
• This role involves driving children and conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability; it is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport SEN or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
• To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.
