Job summary

24x7 Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Passenger Assistant to support transport of SEN and vulnerable passengers to school or day care centres.

The role involves working with drivers, establishing positive relationships with passengers and carers, and maintaining safety and comfort on journeys. Training is provided and DBS checks are required; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. This is term-time work with monthly payments.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training.

Responsibilities

• Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable passengers to and from school, college, or day care centres.
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
• To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.
