Finstall First School seeks a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for term-time, 22 hours 30 minutes weekly, across five mornings. You will provide one-to-one support for a pupil with cognition and learning needs under an EHCP and help the pupil engage with lessons to grow independence.

You will work with parents, carers, staff, and other professionals, including 1hr40m daily lunchtime support, and participate in INSET days, to support learning and development in a well‑resourced school environment.

Responsabilidades

• One-to-one support for a pupil with cognition and learning needs under an EHCP.
• Helping the pupil engage fully with teaching and learning.
• Supporting the pupil to take part in all aspects of school life and build independence.
• Building a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil.
• Working with parents/carers, school staff and other professionals.
• Lunchtime support of 1 hour 40 minutes each day.
• Attending specified INSET days.
• Supporting children's learning and development.
• Providing high quality classroom support to pupils and staff.
• Supporting targeted pupils who need extra help to overcome barriers to learning.
