Job summary

Laurel Lane Primary School in Stockley is seeking a warm, proactive Learning Mentor to join its inclusion team and support children with social, emotional, behavioural or learning needs. You will provide classroom support and targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions to help pupils access their learning.

This role is term-time, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am–3:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, and offers a supportive environment with opportunities for CPD alongside

Qualifications

• Warm and empathetic approach to working with children and families.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs and barriers to learning.
• Able to plan and deliver targeted interventions for individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Help children develop strategies to regulate emotions and relationships.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to remove learning barriers.
