Job summary

The Blandford School in Blandford Forum is seeking an Academic Learning Mentor to join our Learning Hub team. The role is term-time only plus 5 inset days, 39 weeks per year, working around 30 hours per week to help students overcome barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students and staff, using excellent communication and organisational skills to support a positive learning environment and contribute to academic progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students to overcome barriers to learning.
• Ability to work closely with students and staff to support learning.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support students to access learning and remove barriers to achievement.
