Lyde Green Primary School is seeking a committed Learning Mentor to join our busy and supportive school team. Working under the direction of the SENCo and phase leaders, you will plan and deliver targeted interventions for pupils who require additional support, focusing on behaviour, wellbeing and educational development.

You will have a GCSE in Maths and English (4+) and an NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, with a willingness to pursue SEND training.

• GCSE Maths and English (4+).
• NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Willingness to pursue SEND qualifications.
• Experience with safeguarding and welfare practices.

Mansioni

• Support pupils with SEND, Pupil Premium and vulnerable learners.
• Promote wellbeing, self-esteem and positive behaviour.
• Contribute to Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle.
• Lead small group and 1:1 interventions in literacy, numeracy and behaviour.
• Assist teachers with planning, preparation and classroom organisation.
• Supervise pupils during breaks, clubs and trips.
