Job summary

Lancashire County Council’s Catering Service is hiring a Unit Catering Supervisor for Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Primary School in Parbold. You will lead the day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure nutritious meals for pupils, while maintaining food safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Organised, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering great food and service.
• Experience leading or supervising a catering team.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices from kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure meals are prepared and served to a high standard.
• Supervise catering staff and support a positive team environment.
• Order food, manage deliveries and stock levels.
• Maintain records and stock control systems.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
• Create a welcoming dining experience for pupils and staff.
