Job summary

Connaught Resourcing are seeking an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a wonderful nursery in Reading on a term-time basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 6:15pm, with school holidays off, offering a strong work-life balance.

You will provide high-quality EYFS care, plan indoor and outdoor activities, support safeguarding, observe progress and work as part of a supportive team to deliver excellent early years practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development.
• Experience in EYFS and early years settings.
• Able to work term-time and support outdoor/indoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Plan and support indoor and outdoor activities that promote curiosity and development.
• Observe and record children's progress to inform next steps.
• Promote children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating nursery space.
• Work as part of a supportive team to maintain high standards.
