Level 3 Early Years Practitioner in Reading

Full time, hours between 8am – 6pm

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our supportive, enthusiastic teams in Reading.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, adhering to room ratios and policies
  • Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring detailed, quality record keeping
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always maintained, completing risk assessments, hazard logs and documentation as required
  • Oversee the settling in of new children, liaising closely with caregivers and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth transition
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification – this is essential
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Previous nursery or childcare experience - essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
