Teaching Personnel in Reading is hiring a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our caring team in Reading. Full-time role with hours 8am to 6pm and salary competitive based on experience.

You will create a safe, inclusive environment, support development through play, and collaborate with parents to ensure children thrive, while maintaining safeguarding standards and accurate progress records.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Early Years qualification and EYFS knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in a nursery setting is essential.
• Paediatric First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating environment for children, adhering to room ratios and policies.
• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring detailed, quality record keeping.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are always maintained, completing risk assessments, hazard logs and documentation as required.
• Oversee the settling in of new children, liaising closely with caregivers and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth transition.
