Job summary

Connaught Resourcing is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a wonderful nursery in Reading on a term-time basis. The role focuses on outdoor play, exploration and hands-on learning in a bright open-plan environment.

Role hours are Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 6:15pm during term time, offering work-life balance with school holidays off. You will support children's development within EYFS and maintain a safe, nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven Level 3 childcare qualification and knowledge of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Plan and support indoor and outdoor activities to encourage development.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to promote welfare and safety of all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Observe and record progress to support next learning steps.
• Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating nursery space and play areas.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high standards of practice.
