Job summary

Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We seek a Chef Manager who will take full operational and financial responsibility for the school's catering facility, delivering high-quality food and service while elevating the dining experience.

You will own GP management, control costs, lead a kitchen team, drive menu innovation and ensure quality and compliance across audits and legislation. This role requires a visionary leader with passion for excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong GP management to drive profitability.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Financial control: manage and improve all controllable costs (stock, food, labour).
• Lead, coach, train and inspire your kitchen team to deliver excellence daily.
• Oversee menu development and drive sales through monthly promotions and events.
• Ensure quality standards, systems and legislation through audits and proactive management.
