Job summary

Governing Body invites applications for a teaching assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will support individuals and groups of children in class, cover a whole class in the absence of a teacher, and work with children with a range of SEND needs.

The role requires 5 GCSEs A-C including English and Maths (or equivalent) and a CACHE Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs grade A–C including English and Maths (or equivalent).
• CACHE Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and groups of children in class.
• Cover a whole class in the absence of a teacher.
• Work with children with a range of SEND needs.
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication.
