Job summary

The Arnewood School, part of Bourne Education Trust, is seeking a Cover Supervisor for term-time, permanent work. The role involves supervising classes for 19.5 hours per week across 37 weeks, with flexible hours and on-site duties at the New Milton campus.

The successful candidate will support learning, uphold high standards of behaviour, and assist in safeguarding and inclusion across lessons. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Supervise classes using prepared material to engage learners.
• Establish positive relationships and set high expectations.
• Support inclusion and manage behaviour per policy.
• Demonstrate safeguarding commitment and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes with lesson plans provided by a teacher.
• Build productive relationships and model positive conduct.
• Support inclusive learning in academic and pastoral settings.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and complete required training.
