Job summary

Northgate High School in Dereham is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning during term-time, 30 hours per week. The role is based on Scale E with a full-time salary range; actual salary reflects pro-rata hours and the term-time calendar.

You will work with staff and pupils to foster a positive learning environment, assisting with class supervision, behaviour management and preparing activities. A rewarding path into education is envisaged.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with pupils is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication with staff and pupils.
• Ability to create a calm, positive learning environment.

• Supervise classes during lessons and maintain orderly behaviour.
• Support teachers with planning and delivering activities.
