Job summary

Weston College is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join its team at the Loxton Campus in Weston-super-Mare. This full-time, term-time only role runs 37 hours per week across 38 weeks per year.

You will supervise classes in the absence of regular staff, delivering pre-set work with minimal planning and ensuring learners stay engaged. Applicants should hold a degree-level qualification, possess excellent organisational skills, and demonstrate an empathetic, inclusive approach to learners.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree-level qualification.
• Experience teaching or supervising learners at Level 2 or above.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to manage diverse learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-set work with limited planning required.
• Provide 121, small group or in-class support when not covering.
• Attend on-site interviews and work across Weston campuses as required.
