Job summary

Activate Learning is seeking a Chef de Partie at Guildford College Campus to deliver food and refreshment services to students, staff and guests. You will work under the Chef Manager as part of the in-house Food Service team, ensuring meals are produced to high standards and in a timely manner.

The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week across 38 weeks of term-time, 0.84). Typical shifts are 7am–3pm, with some evenings and weekends for pre-planned events.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in literacy and numeracy.
• Willingness to obtain Food Hygiene certificate if not held.
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals to high standards and ensure timely service.
• Work as part of the in-house catering team under the Chef Manager.
• Uphold hygiene, health and safety in kitchen operations.
