Enhance Catering is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie for a prestigious boarding school in South West London. Join a high-volume operation delivering fresh meals for pupils, staff and visitors, with 2,600 covers per day and a strong emphasis on quality and food safety.

The role involves managing your section during service, contributing to varied menus and maintaining HACCP standards. Term Time Only contract and a permanent position offer a good work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef looking to progress.
• Experience in a busy, fresh food kitchen.
• Solid understanding of Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Passion for producing high-quality food.
• Experience in education or large-scale hospitality is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals to a consistently high standard.
• Take responsibility for your designated section during service.
• Support the delivery of varied, balanced and nutritious menus.
• Ensure excellent standards of food presentation and portion control.
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist with stock control, stock rotation and waste reduction.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen environment at all times.
