Job summary

Sodexo at Wellington College in Berkshire is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a skilled culinary team delivering high-quality school catering across daily services and special events.

You will work 40 hours per week, with shifts 6:30am-3:00pm or 12:00pm-8:30pm, on a permanent, term-time contract (34 weeks) in a prestigious school setting.

This role offers progression opportunities, a supportive culinary environment and a focus on fresh ingredients and high-end hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role.
• Experience in hospitality, events, functions or high-quality food service.
• Passion for producing fresh, high-quality food.
• Strong attention to detail in food presentation and consistency.
• Teamwork and ability to follow directions from senior chefs.
• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety knowledge/certificates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality food to agreed standards.
• Support internal hospitality events, functions, VIP occasions and special events.
• Produce dishes with excellent presentation and a focus on fine-dining style.
