Aspens Services Ltd. is seeking a Catering Assistant in Crawley to support our school kitchen during lunchtimes. You will handle till service and frontline customer interaction, with full training provided to ensure smooth operation in a busy environment.

The role focuses on basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety standards while working a term-time schedule of 16 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with DBS disclosure supported.

Qualifications

• You are a team player and thrive in a busy kitchen environment.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is expected; training can be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer interaction at the till during service with training provided.
• Provide friendly, polite frontline service to students and staff.
