Job summary

Aspens Services, a market-leading contract caterer in education, is recruiting a Catering Assistant in Bourne End. You will support our kitchen with basic food preparation and deliver excellent lunchtime service to students and staff, helping the busy rush run smoothly.

This role is Monday to Friday during school term time (22.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year) with no late nights or weekends. The position offers training, DBS disclosure, and opportunities to develop through our Learning &

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Great teamwork and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation and service during lunchtimes.
• Provide friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and comply with H&S standards.
• Support the team to ensure the lunchtime rush runs smoothly.
