School-Home Support (SHS) seeks a Family Support Practitioner to join our team at the Blackpool setting. You will deliver a programme of casework with school staff to promote educational outcomes and improve attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning for children and families.

You will build strong relationships with families from diverse backgrounds, ensuring safeguarding and holistic support. This is a permanent, term-time role with inset days and a focus on wellbeing and collaborative

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate with a wide group of people.
• Experience working with families from diverse communities.
• Experience of holistic family support and safeguarding processes.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes for children and their families.
• Focus support to improve attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning.
• Work in close partnership with school staff and be based at the setting.
