Job summary

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions in Stafford seeks a Tendering Team Leader to guide a team of four Tender Specialists, turning complex customer requirements into accurate, competitive proposals. The role sits in a hybrid Stafford office, with three days on site and collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Sourcing and Project Management.

You will lead, develop and prioritise work, drive tender improvements and extend support to the Nordics over time, while contributing to the Stafford local

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating a team with ability to coach others.
• Ability to manage workloads and priorities to deliver timely, high-quality proposals.
• Experience reviewing customer specifications and translating them into technical and commercial proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Tender Specialists and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
• Manage day-to-day workload and resources to meet deadlines and quality.
• Collaborate with Sales to review enquiries and gather necessary information.
• Clarify unclear requirements with customers and obtain needed information.
• Allocate new enquiries based on workload, capability and priorities.
• Monitor tenders and support resolution of obstacles.
• Oversee proposals from spare-parts to high-value projects.
• Ensure offers meet customer requirements and internal governance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sourcing, Field Services and PM to develop complete offers.
• Support handover of successful tenders to Project Management and execution teams.
• Drive improvements to tendering processes across the team.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across wider region, including Nordics.
• Contribute to Stafford local management team and be active in tender prep for selected offers.
