Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the preparation of high-quality, competitive bids for the Grid Solutions Integration team across Europe. The role involves coordinating tender inputs, supporting negotiations, and driving compliant, value-focused proposals that meet customer needs.

You will work in a hybrid setup with offices across Europe, including Stafford and Glasgow, contributing to commercial discussions and pricing strategies while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, bids, or proposals with ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to prepare, coordinate and deliver tender and proposal documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of commercial risk, contract review and compliant proposal submission.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across sales, commercial, technical and operations.
• Problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to make sound recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage proposals from initial tender kick-off through to submission and handover, ensuring a structured, timely, and high-quality bid process.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs from commercial, technical, sourcing, planning, and execution teams to develop compliant and competitive offers.
• Lead internal proposal reviews covering strategy, risk, assumptions, costing, and resource planning to support strong commercial outcomes.
• Own cost outputs, benchmarking data, and pricing assumptions to help develop robust and competitive proposals.
• Ensure proposal documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements and internal governance processes.
• Utilise lessons learned and support continuous improvement across tendering activities.
• Contribute to a smooth handover from tendering to execution following contract award.
