Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Tendering Team Leader for the Power Transmission unit in Stafford. You will lead a four‑person team, turning customer requirements into accurate, compelling offers and coordinating between Sales, Engineering, Sourcing and Project Management.

You will guide the tendering process from enquiry to award, ensuring timely, compliant proposals while maintaining high quality. This role combines leadership with hands-on tender preparation and regional growth expectations.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising or coordinating a team.
• Ability to manage workloads and balance multiple priorities while maintaining quality.
• Experience reviewing customer or technical specs and clarifying requirements.
• Understanding of translating customer needs into technical and commercial proposals.
• Commercial awareness in tendering, sales, or project management contexts.
• Strong written and verbal communication across commercial, technical and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Tender Specialists to deliver accurate, timely proposals.
• Balance workload and resources to ensure on-time, high-quality tenders.
• Collaborate with Sales to clarify scope and gather necessary information for offers.
