Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Power Systems Tender Manager to own the technical coordination during the tender phase of large projects, often exceeding $200 million, including HVDC elements. The role is based in the UK with a global collaboration footprint.

You will lead tender engineering activities, drive safety-focused, reliable, and cost-effective solutions, and work with regional leaders to shape execution designs. A strong electrical background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical discipline is nice to have, but total experience matters.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on large infrastructure tenders.
• HVDC or power sector experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface for customers and lead the tender team to deliver high-impact, competitive technical solutions.
• Lead the global coordination of tender engineering activities across multi-work-package projects.
• Optimize technical solution design with emphasis on safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while meeting customer requirements.
• Estimate budgets and define execution designs in collaboration with regional leaders and Order to Remittance (OTR) experts.
• Collaborate with platform, control, and design leaders to apply best practices from past projects to new tenders.
