Job summary

GE Vernova in Stafford is seeking a Technical Tendering Engineering to join the Electrification team. You will act as the technical bridge between solution engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams across the Inquiry-to-Order process.

You will ensure tenders are technically sound, cost-effective, and backed by manufacturing feasibility, while protecting project margins and delivery timelines through risk assessment and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Experience with ITO processes and cost estimation.
• Ability to assess shop floor capacity, lead times and constraints.
• Strong collaboration between engineering, commercial and operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to ensure cost and feasibility.
• Standardize tendering assumptions for consistency.
• Identify risks and opportunities to protect margins.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to keep bids competitive and executable.
• Align front-end ITO with back-end manufacturing execution.
