Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Tender Technical Manager to coordinate HVDC tender activities and own technical scope for reference solutions. You will align with regional teams, solution lines and customers to deliver compliant, high-quality proposals that meet cost targets and safety standards.

The role requires leading complex technical projects, managing risk, and guiding SMEs across regions to ensure successful bids and execution while supporting decarbonization initiatives globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field
• Experience in EPC environments (T&D, Power Generation, Oil & Gas) with HVDC technology
• Leadership: ability to inspire teams and meet goals in dynamic environments
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and manage risk
• Emerging ability to lead, coach, or coordinate subject matter experts
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across multiple groups
• Global mindset and willingness to travel across regions
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills

Responsibilities

• Own technical activities to develop and maintain HVDC reference solutions for tender execution
• Develop, maintain, and improve engineering documentation, guidelines, toolkits, and deployment methodologies
• Ensure technical interfaces are identified, managed and verified with engineering functions
• Provide technical support during ITO and OTR phases with final approval for deviations
• Collaborate with SMEs to complete a DFMEA focusing on system architecture
• Support bid and execution teams with solution framing, governance, and risk reviews
• Incorporate RoE, lessons learned, and in-service feedback into reference solutions
• Support lifecycle management including obsolescence, installed base, and service opportunities
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety, and certification across regions
• Support Solution Delivery Leader in planning and prioritization of activities
