Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Tender Planner to work with Transportation out of Golborne, with some travel to sites as required. The role encompasses assimilating information, preparing resourced programmes, and contributing to risk analysis across major rail and infrastructure projects.

You will use planning techniques and tools (P6, Asta, TILOS, QSRA) in collaboration with estimators and the broader team. Murphy offers competitive benefits and a strong development culture.

Qualifications

• Must have pre-construction/tender planning experience.
• Experience with Network Rail schemes or major infrastructure projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assimilate information and summarise scope for the team.
• Prepare a resourced programme and check conformance with requirements.
• Contribute to the risk register and perform programme risk analysis.
• Create visual material to support planned methods.
• Define methods and outputs with input from estimator and supply chain.
• Provide the estimator with a justified schedule of temporary works and indirect costs.
• Attend bid review meetings to present a clear work scope and delivery plan.
• Advise project team on required feedback reports and support.
