The role requires practical survey knowledge, strong writing and coordinating skills, and commercial judgement. Based in Lymington, the candidate should be comfortable guiding internal teams and fielding client clarifications.

Qualifications

• Around three years of experience in marine geophysical surveying.
• Practical understanding of the survey lifecycle and common systems.
• Ability to write clear technical and commercial proposal content for readers.
• Strong organisation and ability to coordinate contributors against deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify delivery risks and scope gaps.
• Confident communication with internal teams, suppliers and clients.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenders, pre-qualification questionnaires and information requests through review, approval and submission.
• Analyse invitations to tender, scopes of work and contract documents to identify deliverables, requirements and risks.
• Prepare tender plans, compliance matrices and review programmes.
• Develop technical methodologies, execution plans, vessel/equipment selections and personnel plans.
• Coordinate estimates and pricing inputs to reflect the delivery model.
• Develop assumptions, exclusions and commercial reservations for internal approval.
• Coordinate client clarifications, interviews and presentations.
• Provide post-award handover covering scope, commitments and actions.
• Maintain tender records and templates; improve proposal processes.
