Job summary

Taff Housing in Newport is seeking a Tenant Support Worker to join the Lighthouse Project within Support Services. You will provide housing-related support to adults and families facing homelessness or tenancy challenges, working with partners to connect people to relevant services.

We offer a supportive, trauma-informed environment with training and opportunities to progress. A full UK driving licence is preferred, and you will collaborate with colleagues to develop personalised support plans

Qualifications

Ability to work with vulnerable people
Knowledge of housing-related support
Understanding landlord and tenant issues
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to undertake assessments and develop support plans with service users
Ability to work with colleagues to achieve a shared vision
Understand the legal, ethical and strategic reasons for supporting workplace diversity
Ability to drive with a full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

You will be a great support worker in The Lighthouse Project’s Support Services department, ensuring that the needs of the service user are met within the project scope.
