Job summary

The Lighthouse Project at Taff Housing Association is seeking a Tenant Support Worker to join the Support Services team in Newport. You will provide housing-related support to adults and families at risk of homelessness, helping them access services through partners such as Citizens Advice and local authorities.

You will carry out assessments, develop support plans, and work with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with vulnerable people.
• Knowledge/understanding of housing related support.
• Ability to undertake assessments and develop support plans with service users.
• Ability to work with colleagues to achieve a shared vision.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing-related support to adults and families at risk of homelessness or tenancy difficulties.
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans and carry out assessments.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to connect service users with relevant services.
