Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join a major civil engineering project in Lewis on a long-term contract basis. The role involves coordinating and managing temporary works across the site, ensuring proper planning, installation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have temporary works coordination experience or strong civil engineering/site-based experience with responsibility for temporary works.

Qualifications

• Temporary works coordination experience preferred.
• Strong civil engineering or site-based experience with temporary works.
• Ability to coordinate with design teams and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify temporary works requirements as the project progresses.
• Coordinate temporary works designs and prepare and agree design briefs.
• Liaise with the design team, consultants and temporary works designers.
• Ensure temporary works designs are checked, approved and available before works commence.
• Maintain and manage the temporary works register.
