Job summary

Contract Scotland is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join a major civil engineering project in Lewis on a long-term contract basis. The role involves coordinating and managing temporary works across the site, ensuring proper planning, installation and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have temporary works coordination experience or strong civil engineering/site-based experience with responsibility for temporary works.

Responsibilities

• Identify temporary works requirements as the project progresses.

• Maintain and manage the temporary works register.

TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATOR

Location: Lewis, Stornoway
Duration: 12 months+
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 7:00am 7:00pm
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join a major civil engineering project in Lewis on a long-term contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing temporary works throughout the project, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Agent, engineering team, designers and consultants to ensure temporary works are properly planned, approved, installed and maintained.

Previous Temporary Works Coordinator experience is preferred, although candidates with strong civil engineering and site-based experience who have had responsibility for temporary works will also be considered.
