Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to lead all temporary works on major energy infrastructure projects. The role requires coordinating between site teams, designers and stakeholders to ensure safe planning, design, implementation and inspection of temporary works.

You will manage the Temporary Works Request System, ensure BS 5975 compliance, coordinate permits, and participate in look-ahead meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
• Strong understanding of BS 5975 and CDM Regulations 2015.
• Able to obtain BPSS Security Clearance.
• Holds, or is able to obtain, a CCNSG Safety Passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead contact for all temporary works on site, coordinating between site teams, designers and project stakeholders to ensure safe planning, design, implementation and inspection of temporary works.
• Manage the Temporary Works Request System and ensure compliance with BS 5975.
• Coordinate temporary works permits and participate in look-ahead meetings.
• Ensure inspections and approvals are completed in line with company procedures.
