Job summary

Orion Group is recruiting a Temporary Works Co-ordinator to join our Civils & Infrastructure team in Inverness, Scotland. You will ensure temporary works are designed, implemented and managed safely on site, working with design teams, site managers and engineers.

You'll review briefs, approve method statements, coordinate inspections, maintain registers, and provide technical support to site teams while adhering to BS 5975 and safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience as Temporary Works Coordinator or Engineer in civil/construction.
• Knowledge of BS 5975 and temporary works procedures.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• TWC training (CITB) or equivalent preferred.
• HNC/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all aspects of temporary works design and implementation on-site.
• Reviewing, approving, and issuing design briefs and method statements.
• Liaising with Temporary Works Designers, Site Managers, and Engineers to ensure BS 5975 compliance.
• Conducting regular inspections and ensuring temporary works are correctly implemented and maintained.
• Managing temporary works registers and documentation.

Orion Group is supporting a successful and well respected Civils & Infrastructure client to source a Temporary Works Co-Ordinator to add to there team.

As the new Temporary Works Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring that all temporary works on various projects are designed, implemented, and managed safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with design teams, site managers, and engineers to make sure every aspect of their projects meets the highest safety and quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating all aspects of temporary works design and implementation on-site.
