Job summary

Ferrovial Construction (UK) Limited seeks a Rail Systems Design Integration Lead for the HS2 track infrastructure program. Based in Birmingham with site coordination, you will lead design interfaces between RAM, System Safety, Interoperability and other contractors to ensure technical consistency and integrated assurance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered IMEC, PWA Institute or CEng desirable.
• Experience in major multi-disciplinary rail projects, UK experience valuable.
• Experience managing design integration and interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of RAM, system safety and interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and coordination of design interfaces between contractor systems scope and other HS2 contractors and the client, ensuring technical consistency and integrated assurance.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Interface Management Plan and processes for railway systems designs integration.
• Oversee RAM, System Safety, Interoperability, Security management plans and related procedures.
• Manage system integration processes from design to construction and oversee ICDs and interface control documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, client, designers and internal teams to resolve design interfaces and system integration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical coordination across interfaces.
