Job description

Highline Water District is currently seeking a Temporary Seasonal Maintenance Worker. As a Maintenance Worker, you will join the Operations Department and report to the Operations and Field Supervisors. This is a temporary position lasting no more than 100 calendar days from May through August.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on fire hydrants, painting, office maintenance, grounds maintenance, vehicle maintenance, courier duties, and other duties as assigned. This position is considered an entry-level position, and an ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience in cleaning, operating grounds equipment (weed eater, pressure washer, etc.), working outdoors, and experience using hand and power tools.

Requirements
