About Our Client

Our client is a well-established business within the manufacturing industry seeking a temporary Receptionist to join their team.

Job Description

  1. Greeting and welcoming guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  2. Directing visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  3. Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  4. Ensuring reception area is tidy and presentable.
  5. Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail/deliveries.
  6. Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  7. Ordering front office supplies and keeping an inventory of stock.
  8. Updating calendars and scheduling meetings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Receptionist should have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
